Cadillac Attended the Oscars

The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, is one of the most prestigious and glamorous awards shows every year.
Those in attendance at this show were decked out in their finest attire and have made their bodies fit and beautiful to show off as they walk the Red Carpet. What you might not have noticed among these stars is the fact that Cadillac had a presence at this show during commercials and on the Red Carpet to remind us of the prestige and the pure sophisticated elegance of the brand that we’ve loved for more than a century.

Cadillac as Part of the Red Carpet

In order to maintain the prestige and the purity of the Oscar ceremony and what the Red Carpet stands for, Cadillac didn’t embroider the carpet with its logo or show off the crest in a way that put the brand in the front of the stars that were walking in to join the celebration. Instead, Cadillac shows its crest as the blue lines of the crest that light up on the steps of a specially constructed staircase that’s part of the walk into the venue on the Red Carpet.

The Blue Step Stage for Stories

The blue lines of the Cadillac crest represent valor and while illuminated on the steps, the idea is to invite celebrities to share their #KeepRising stories from the blue-step stage. This took place during the pre-show of the event to make it possible for us to admire and enjoy the stories of these famous people and enjoy the upward determination of the Cadillac brand. This was a great way for the stories to be told and for the Cadillac message to be shared in a subtle but impressive way so that we can admire the brand and the celebrities.

A First for Cadillac

Because Cadillac is the sponsor of the Oscars, you expect to see commercials with vehicles form the brand. The first for this brand is the fact that all the vehicles of the crossover/SUV lineup from Cadillac were featured together in an ad. This new “Rise Above” theme for the commercials gave us a look at the XT4, XT5, XT6 and Escalade to show us the beauty and build that Cadillac has created in the luxury SUV lineup that we can admire and enjoy when its time for a drive on the roads in our area.

The Brand You Love and Admire

If there was ever to be a fitting sponsor for the Academy Awards, its Cadillac. This brand signifies the quality, the luxury, the elegance, and the drive that we all want to be able to enjoy when heading out on the road. You know that you love this brand and have admired what they have offered for many years. With a new and stronger SUV lineup that you can choose from, its easy to see how the Cadillac name could be on the vehicle that you choose to take home and drive every day.
