Even though there is a new model on the horizon of the Ram 1500 pickup that we know and love, the brand chose to bring us one more special edition model to give us something to drive that will be bright, perform well, and show off what the Ram name brings to the market.
This new model is called the Sport Hydro Blue edition that shows up with the look and the qualities that you want for the drive that you’ll want to experience when you’re out on the road getting work done in the right truck for you.
There aren’t any new equipment offering for this truck compared to the other Ram 1500 models already on the market. What this truck does offer is a Hydro Blue exterior paint for the look you want on the road. The blue color is broken up by a variety of black accent items to give it an impressive look you can enjoy. One example of this is the Sport performance hood with black decals, a sports grille with black billet inserts, and a black RAM letter badge. You’ll also see black body side and tailgate badging.
The Truck and the Dramatic Color
The Hydro Blue color makes its way to the front fascia, rear bumper, side mirrors, and door handles which have been unpainted on several of the other models of this truck, but to give this truck the dramatic appearance desired, RAM has added this color to these areas. Overall, you’re going to see a truck that brings you an exciting and impressive look with the style you want to see, especially if blue happens to be your favorite color. This is certainly an excellent way for Ram to see the end of this generation as they prepare to bring in the next one.
This new model of the Ram 1500 will ride on 20-inch wheels in the 4×2 models, but if you choose to upgrade to the 4WD versions, you’re going to have a set of 22-inch wheels for the ride in this amazing truck. If you want the larger wheels but you want to have the 2WD model, you can order them as an option for the drive you’ll want to experience on the road. This model is great for the drive and offers you the Ram personality you’re looking for on the road.
On the inside, the Ram is trimmed out with blue interior inserts, color-contrasting stitching, and embroidered headrests. You’ll have cloth seats as the standard offering but you can have leather for the upholstery if you want to enjoy the ride. Ram will offer only 2,000 of the Hydro Blue editions as the final Sport model for the model that is being replaced for the 2019 model year with a new generation of the Ram 1500.
