The Honda is just a little better
The Acura Integra Type S loses out to the Honda Civic Type R, but only by a narrow margin. The Type S has a much better ride and impressive driving manners on the road, but when you want a performance comparison, the track is where you go. This is where the Civic Type R is at home.
The Integra Type S has a few items that make it fall short. This car has power seats, but lower trims of the Integra have memory-programmable seas that are much more convenient. The Integra also has a four-seat configuration compared to the five-seat setup of the Honda.
Acura focused heavily on performance qualities in this version of the Integra. If it weren’t wearing the Acura badge, the small rear seats would be acceptable, but this is supposed to be a luxury car. The Type S doesn’t have rear vents or USB ports or charging, which are expected items in the modern market.
