2023 Lucid Air – 516 Miles
To date, the electric car with the longest driving range on a single full charge is the 2023 Lucid Air Grand Touring. This incredible vehicle offers 516 miles of continuous driving range, but it comes at a high price. This EV requires $138,000 to make it the car that sits in your driveway. The Lucid Air comes with 19-inch Aero Range wheels, 819 horsepower, a dual-motor electric drive system, and a spacious cabin.
2023 Tesla Model S – 405 Miles
You’ll lose more than 100 miles of range, but pay quite a bit less to drive the Tesla Model S. The version of this car that brings 405 miles of electric range costs $104,990. If you want the extreme-performance Plaid model, the range drops to 396 miles. Either way, you’ve got an electric vehicle that costs a lot but delivers incredible sprint speeds and has become one of the most sought-after luxury electric cars in the market.
2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali – 400 Miles
This big electric GMC truck isn’t in the market yet, but it’s ready to join the Hummer EV in the lineup. The Denali trim represents luxury levels of driving for this new truck. The 400-mile driving range comes with a hefty price tag of $107,000. Of course, the Sierra EV has advantages over the Lucid Air and Tesla Model S by being a pickup truck and one of the most capable EVs in the market. The Sierra EV Denali can tow up to 9,500 pounds and provide some amazing features for your drive.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV WT – 400 Miles
Here’s a chance to find some serious affordability in the electric vehicle market. When the new Silverado EV arrives, the Work Truck (WT) trim is expected to cost $39,900 and offer up to 400 miles of driving range. This could make it the most capable and useful trucks offered. The Silverado EV WT can tow up to 10,000 pounds and is made for fleet buyers. This truck will compete with the already popular Ford F-150 Lightning.
2022 Rivian R1T – 400 Miles
The third EV pickup truck with 400 miles of driving range is one that’s already offered. The Rivian R1T fits between the midsize and half-ton truck classes, and it packs lots of adventure gear for the fun of being in the wilderness. This truck also fits between the two GM models mentioned with a price of $87,000. The 400-mile range comes with the Adventure Quad-Motor, AWD, and the Max Pack battery feature. This is the most expensive version of the R1T offered.
2023 Tesla Model 3 – 358 Miles
The most affordable Tesla in the market is the Model 3. The Long Range model delivers 358 miles of driving range, but it comes at a high price of $57,990. Other versions of this small electric vehicle offer between 272 and 315 miles of driving, which isn’t too bad either. This little car brings the Tesla qualities we admire, including a central touchscreen that handles all of the controls. Of course, when buying the Model 3, you’ve got to learn the Tesla quirks and functions that aren’t part of other models.
2023 Tesla Model X – 351 Miles
Choose the Tesla Model X, and you’re paying for more than just the driving range. This midsize luxury SUV brings three rows of seats and an impressive package with 20-inch wheels. The best driving range for this electric SUV costs $109,990. If you choose the performance-oriented Plaid model, the driving range hits 333 miles instead of 351 for the longest range. Of course, if you admire the Falcon Wing rear doors and the Tesla qualities included in this SUV, you’ll pay that high price and experience the driving range offered.
2023 Fisker Ocean – 350 Miles
The new Fisker Ocean might be a value-oriented luxury SUV in the electric vehicle market. If this SUV can hit the production and sales figures expected, it could be a top choice by many. The Ocean only loses one mile to the Model X, but the price of this Fisker SUV is $68,999. That’s a huge difference between the two. This Fisker model has seating for five and some impressive features that will make you happy to have something different when you choose your EV.
2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ – 350 Miles
The flagship Mercedes-Benz S-Class has gone electric. The EQS 450+ is an excellent all-electric sedan that delivers plenty of power, a driving range, and a roomy cabin. The 350 miles of driving does come at a high price. This model costs $102,310, which puts it in the same class as the Model X. You’ll love the pure luxury quality offered by Mercedes-Benz, even if you don’t love the price of this EV sedan.
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 – 340 Miles
The new 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 might be the most value-oriented electric vehicle in the market. This new sedan brings 340 miles of driving range while priced at $44,000. This new car goes on sale in the spring and comes with several different configurations to give you the desired driving experience. You’ll find the new Hyundai charging technology which can take this sedan from 10 to 80 percent charge in only 18 minutes. Could this be the EV that you park in your driveway?
