When it comes to finding the right truck, find one that is capable for everyday uses, but can also handle the job of going out on the trails. Find the Honda Ridgeline.
The SEMA Show is where we see a lot of modified vehicles that make a huge impact on us and show what can be built with the right upgrades and features. One vehicle that showed up at this location for this year is the Honda Ridgeline Black Edition with has been turned into something spectacular.
Honda Took it to New Heights
The Honda team partnered with Jsport Performance Accessories to add modifications to the Ridgeline to make it an Overland edition that could handle the drive to nearly every location on the trails. These changes and improvements are offered without compromising the on-road comfort, which makes a huge difference when it’s time to get out on the road and take a drive. This new version of the Ridgeline will be offered for sale as it makes its way to production, which certainly increases the attractiveness of this truck.
What Does the Honda Ridgeline Overland Offer
Some of the additions offered in the Ridgeline Overland include skid plates, off-road wheels and tires, and a leveling kit to help the Ridgeling make the most use of the AWD system that’s included with this truck. Other items added include Jsport sidesteps, a Mesa bed rack, and a lightweight generator that’s mounted in the roof rack to power some of the electrical accessories you might bring along. These added items make it possible for this truck to be one that you can trust and enjoy when you take it out on the trails.
More from Honda
Honda is attempting to be quiet about the forthcoming Rugged Open Air Concept model that could be the one that we want to see and enjoy in the future. While the name is a dead giveaway as to what the vehicle might offer, there aren’t a lot of details being shared for this concept yet. The new Open Air model is expected to allow a Polaris RZR dune buggy to be fit in the rear of the vehicle and be taken out for an adventure on the trails where you could have a lot of fun.
Ideas of What We’ll See
The wait won’t be long for us to see what the Rugged Open Air Concept will be since Honda will unveil it during the SEMA show. Guesses as to what this new vehicle will be, include using the Ridgeline or CR-V platforms to build something that might be the right choice for a vehicle from Honda that can open your world while you drive on the trails. We’ll have to wait and see what it is, but what we do know is the Ridgeline Overland is a unique and impressive way for the Honda Ridgeline pickup to be offered and used for off-road fun.
