Fast Cars of the 1950s

What are some of the fastest cars that have been built? Do we have a historical rundown of what some have thought to be progressive and speedy sports cars that have now been overshadowed by the models of today? Thankfully, as long as cars have been on the road, we’ve had people with the desire to write about them and tell us what cars are the fastest or offer the most performance.
