Toyota Tundra Debuts TRD Rally Package For 2025

When the Toyota Tundra hits your Toyota dealer for 2025, some new options are in store. Let’s take a look at all the new features of the 2025 Toyota Tundra.

These include a new TRD Rally Package, a newly available power liftgate, a Tow Tech Package with antenna and a Wi-Fi Trailer camera, and an available i-FORCE MAX powertrain that makes 437 horsepower.

What’s In the TRD Rally Package?

The new TRD Rally Package uses Toyota’s Baja racing heritage as the base for its exterior design. It includes exterior red, orange, and yellow accents for a retro look. Off-road enhancements include 18-inch TRD wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, Multi-Terrain Select, and an electronically controlled locking rear differential. The interior also shows off Toyota’s retro racing history with red, orange, and yellow accents throughout.

Improved Powertrains

Also on the table for 2025 is a choice of two impressive powertrains. The first is a twin-turbo V6 and the second choice is a hybrid twin-turbo V6. Both engines get a 10-speed automatic transmission. The i-FORCE V6 makes 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain makes 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. The more powerful engines deliver a 12,000-pound maximum towing capacity when the Tundra is properly equipped.

Making Towing Easier

The 2025 Toyota Tundra features extra chassis strength for more towing capacity, but it also adds some useful systems to make towing easier. For more visibility while towing, a Panoramic View Monitor is available. It shows the rear truck bed and a rear split view to show what’s near each side of the trailer. Another option is the wireless trailer camera system that adds even more visibility. Power-extending and folding tow mirrors are also available for the 2025 Toyota Tundra.

Standard Toyota Safety Sense

The new Tundra will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 on every model. This advanced system includes features like a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, and Automatic High Beams. Other features are available too like Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking. The new Toyota Tundra is safer than ever.

Wide Variety of Configurations

Like the previous model, the new 2025 Tundra is available in a wide variety of configurations. Two four-door Tundra layouts are available, Double Cab and CrewMax. The Double Cab layout has the choice of a 6.5-foot bed or an 8.1-foot bed. The CrewMax cab layout offers either a 5.5-foot bed or a 6.5-foot bed. There are nine exterior colors for most of the Tundra lineup and a few exclusive colors. The Limited and 1794 models have the option of the Smoked Mesquite color and the TRD Pro features an exclusive Mudbath exterior color, all-new for 2025.

The new 2025 Toyota Tundra and all the additional features should be available at your Toyota dealer by the end of the year.
