The Changes
Starting on the outside the new JL model is larger than the outgoing model. This vehicle is 2.8 inches longer with a 1.4 inch growth in the wheelbase for the two-door models. The four-door version has increased length by 3.8 inches and the wheelbase by 2.4 inches. All models are wider by 2.5 inches for the track and offer a slight body width increase. These changes are hardly noticeable when you see the previous model sitting next to the new model because of a bit of a trick of the eyes and the look of the vehicle.
There are now three engines offered for the new Jeep Wrangler with the classic 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive. there is also a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that gives you 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive with more efficiency. Finally, there is a new3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine under the hood with 260 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. of torque for the drive you’re going to make out on the trails when it’stime for a lot of fun.
The interior of the new Jeep Wrangler offers you a seven-inch touchscreen with an optional 8.4-inch touchscreen that offers the benefits of the infotainment system you’re going to enjoy when you drive. This interior has been improved to be a bit less utilitarian and give you more comfort for your drive out on the roads and trails in your area.
