Kia has become well-known for offering affordable vehicles that appeal to those on a mid-level income because they are full of excellent features to enjoy and come at a price many can afford. Even with this success, Kia has started to see a need to move into its next phase and enter into the sports car realm by offering a high performance sports car at an affordable price. In order to test how this might work for them in the market they have already released pictures and statistics for a concept that will be expected to be released once Kia pulls the trigger on a sports car.
Currently the name of this concept car is the Kia GT4 Stinger which shows off amazing sporty design. The look is similar to that of a Chevrolet Camaro and offers a long hood, a tiger nose grill, LED lighting around the grill and LED headlights that are vertically placed. To go along with these great looks the car will have a low carbon fiber splitter and very larger 20-inch wheels.
The inside of the current concept car is meant to offer the driver and any passengers a full racing experience. Adorned with racing bucket seats, a small and sleek steering wheel and a fast shifting shifter to make the gear transitions smooth and easy the car shows off some racing style from years gone by in a car that never saw those generations of racers. The gauges and dials are all updated and race inspired to allow a driver to have all the information they need in order to ensure the ride can be best controlled and the driver can react quickly and easily to the information provided to them by these various display items.
As a car that is expected to offer a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine which will produce 315 horsepower which is excellent considering the size of the engine. This strong box will be attached to a six-speed manual transmission and be capable of reaching 155 mph as a top speed. To continue to show off some serious racing performance the Stinger will reach sixty mph in five seconds and have a weight of 2874 pounds. The power from the engine will be distributed only slightly more to the front wheels than the back in a 52:48 proportion respectively. Even though this power doesn’t sound like it’s going to scare off any high performance machines, this will be a Kia that many will admire and desire because it will give most of us everything we could every want in a sports car.
The Kia GT4 Stinger concept car is expected to show up with a price that does not reach above $40,000 which makes it very affordable for those of us on a budget. With this kind of pricing and the power that is expected to be available in this car, this will be an exciting offering if Kia decides to pull the trigger and allow this car to be produced for the general public to buy.
